The event brought the two countries together, along with nine companies from the B-Hive community for matchmaking with corporate partners, to discuss key topics in the financial services industry and explore potential new business opportunities in Belgium and in Luxembourg.
B-Hive along with the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT Foundation) came together today in the PwC Luxembourg Experience Center for its first hub roadshow, as a result of fruitful collaboration between the two organizations.
The culmination of the roadshow was a pitching session focused on highlighting some of the most cutting-edge scale-ups in these spaces today in the fields of regtech, robo-advisory, fund management, big data, AI and blockchain. The pitching companies included: Unified Post, Crosslend, Signicat, Tetrao, Delio, Infrachain, Labage, Gambit, LuxTrust, GuardSquare, ume, RiskConcile and Signaturit.
This matchmaking event did not only give financial institutions in Luxembourg and Belgium the opportunity to discover new solutions, but it also brought together major financial services companies, VCs and governmental organizations, such as Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, Isabel, HP Enterprise, Volta Ventures, Flanders Invest & Trade, Wallonia.be and Brussels Invest & Export.
