The API provides Baker partners “with access to normalized, real-time inventory, order, and customer data enabling them to develop and enhance software solutions for the industry as it expands.” For dispensaries using BakerR17;s CRM, the API gives them the ability “to use Baker as a single source of truth for other third party integrators while still maintaining full control over their data.”
Access to the API is granted on a case-by-case basis. Currently, some 20 partners have integrated with Baker’s CRM. They include MJ Freeway, a point of sale solution, Onfleet, a delivery management and analytics solution, and PotGuide, a product reviews service for dispensaries.
Ultimately, Baker’s goal is to use the API to connect all of the tools dispensaries use to operate their businesses.
