Botmetric, an intelligent cloud management platform provider, has announced the release of public APIs that customers and partners can use to integrate the Botmetric platform with third-party applications and systems. Customers and managed service providers (MSPs) can use the Botmetric API to retrieve their cost governance data which can then be added to internal dashboards, custom analytics, and other third-party applications.
Botmetric is an AI-powered cloud management platform that businesses can use to monitor, optimize, and manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud services. The platform allows users to gain full visibility of their AWS and Azure cloud services and governance control. The platform also includes budgeting and forecasting capabilities, specifically for cloud cost management.
With the Botmetric API, business applications can retrieve, for AWS and Azure, a list of available payer accounts and linked accounts as well as detailed information for cloud spend. Among the many Cost Analysis API endpoints are Current Month Spend Summary, Cost Overview, Detailed Compute Cost, and Detailed Storage Cost. The Botmetric API for AWS also includes a savings API which provides access to recommendations for cloud resources cost savings, a savings history list, and other savings information.
“We have always been an API-centric platform with microservices architecture. We are now opening up APIs to be consumed by our customers to access their data on Botmetric,” said Botmetric CEO Vijay Rayapati in a prepared statement. “This will enable customers to build on top of the existing features provided by Botmetric.”
