With the growth in the use of AI within the force to not only distribute resources efficiently but actually predict when, where, and what type of crime is actually going to happen, and with recent private AI ventures being set up to identify serial killers utilising publicly available crime statistics to prove system effectiveness against known crimes and indicate where similar patterns are being seen, could the same technology and publicly available (tax returns, crime statistics, bills of materials for public projects etc) be turned inwards to identify officials and associated private bodies who are falling foul of the expected requirements of their office or contract (or both) or who are indeed corrupt?
