According to the rumors, the LG ThinQ is said to be packing five cameras. A render from the other day seems to have confirmed it, where the phone will feature three cameras on the back, and two in the front. Now as reliable as the source was, it’s never really official until it is official, and it looks like LG might have it themselves.

The company has recently posted a teaser video for the LG V40 ThinQ. Dubbed the “Design Video”, presumably this is a video that talks about the design of the phone. There are a lot of references made to the number “5”, and as if that wasn’t a big enough clue, towards the end of the video LG actually shows off renders of the handset that confirms its triple on the back.

Apart from that, LG does not actually reveal any of the specs of the phone, so right now it’s really anyone’s guess. However as a flagship smartphone for , there’s a good chance that we might be looking at the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and possibly 6-8GB of RAM.

At this point in it is unclear as to what the triple camera setup on the back of the LG V40 ThinQ will be able to accomplish that dual cameras can’t, but we’ll have to wait until the 3rd of October which is when LG is expected to officially announce the phone.
