- 1x1 - Nokia 1 Plus Specs Appear Online Ahead Of Launch
HMD Global has seen considerable success with its Nokia smartphones. The company has sold some 70 million units in a couple of years and offers a variety of products to suit every price range, starting with affordable models priced at around $00 to flagship models that cost north of $700. The Nokia was on the lower end of the spectrum when it arrived last year and it’s successor is due in a few months. It will apparently be called the Nokia Plus and its specs have now appeared online.

The Nokia 1 Plus has been spotted in the Google Play Console Device Catalog. It’s codenamed “ANT” and it runs on Android 9 Pie Go Edition. The Go Edition iteration of Android enables low-end devices to run the latest Android versions with apps that have been optimized for budget processors with low memory.

The Nokia 1 Plus specs that have appeared online include a MediaTek MT6739 processor with 1GB of RAM. The SoC has 4 ARM Cortex-A53 cores at a 1.5GHz maximum clock speed. There’s also an Imagination PowerVR GE8100 GPU. It should also have a 5-inch display with 480×960 resolution.

It will be a fairly basic device aimed at the low end of the . HMD Global hasn’t said when this device will arrive but given that its predecessor was launched in April last year, it may be out in a few months.
